Flyways Waterfowl Museum
Flyways Waterfowl Museum, Gift Shop and Laser Arcade is dedicated to fostering an awareness of migratory wild waterfowl, their ecosystems and the management practices and conservation efforts that affect them. The facility is located just outside of the north shore entrance to Devil’s Lake State Park in the Town of Baraboo, WI. Visitors are welcome to view all the exhibits and displays at their leisure. All exhibits are self- explanatory and the length of time to go through the museum depends upon individual interests. It is recommended that visitors allow an hour to see the whole suite of exhibits.
Flyways encourages its visitors to gain a better understanding of the strong bond that many outdoor enthusiasts have with nature. To many, the duck blind is a destination one goes to, to appreciate the peace and serenity of their natural surroundings.
If you’ve never been in a duck blind, we invite you to our DUCK BLIND THEATER, to enjoy a short show designed to replicate the sights and sounds you’d experience – from dawn to dusk – while sitting in a duck blind. The scenery is superb, and best of all – there’s no mosquitoes!
The museum displays a large collection of more than 50 mounts of diverse waterfowl, duck calls, duck stamps and interpretive displays about wetlands, waterfowl habitat and conservation. The facility features a very nice gift shop.
