Richfield 360 / Richfield Area Trail
This 360 acre parcel lies within gently rolling land, divided by Puff Creek. It has 8 miles of cross-country ski/nature trails and 7 primitive campsites. Richfield 360 is open year-round.
The cross-country ski trail is approximately five miles long. There are both a 1 mile and 2 miles trails marked. The trail It is routed across open fields, through forests, along and across Puff Creek to provide scenic value. Access to the trail includes a plowed parking lot, a covered starting area with map board and toilet. Horseback riding can be enjoyed by visitors when there is no snow on the trails.
Brushing, bulldozing, and leveling to construct the trail began in the fall of 1975 and was completed a year later. In 1996, a new bridge was completed on the southwest corner of the property, crossing Puff Creek. This trail is marked and groomed during the winter season.
