Rudolph Grotto Gardens

The Rudolph Grotto Gardens are set in an area of trees and flowers with man-made rock surroundings. Paths meander over five acres of gardens and shrines that provide a spiritual setting where visitors can spend quiet moments of contemplation.

Visitors can view St. Jude’s Chapel, the Grotto Museum and the Gift Shop. Take a walk along the shrines depicting the Fourteen Stations of the Cross and the Seven Sorrows of Mary. Journey through the Wonder Cave, a one-fifth mile passageway, featuring 26 shrines, and designed based on the catacombs in Rome. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the Picnic Area amid the rock formations and trees.

The Grotto Gardens flourish at the hands of a caretaker and volunteer help and are open year round. The Gift Shop and Cave are open 7 days a week on a seasonal basis from Memorial Day through mid-September. The St. Philip Church Picnic is held at the Grotto Gardens each year on the first Sunday in August.

Hours of Operations: The Grotto Gardens are always open. The Gift Shop, Museum, and Chapel are open from Memorial Day through the middle of September, seven days per week 10:00am to 5:00pm. There is no charge to visit the Grotto Gardens. There is a nominal fee to tour the Wonder Cave.
