Jordan County Park
Jordan Park is a 271-acre county park that includes the 85- acre Jordan Pond. The Plover River flows through it. There’s a large picnic area, picnic lodge, open pavilion, showers, boat ramp, trailer dump station, playground equipment, nature center, nature trail, swimming beach, and baseball field.
In addition to the main campground (22 sites), three canoe campsites are located adjacent to the Plover River. All sites except the canoe sites are provided with electrical hookups. Approximately half the sites are reservable. Reservations are made at the Portage County Parks office, either in person, through the mail or at the internet address www.co.portage.wi.us.The campground also has a handicapped site that can be reserved.
Jordan Pond is an impoundment on the Plover River created by a dam near the intersection of State Highway 66 and County Road Y. Jordan Pond is an 84.5 acre lake with a maximum depth of 8 feet. The southern half of the lake, on both the east and west sides, is in the County Park system. The remaining land on the north end of the lake is largely forested with some agriculture and rural homes. The lake contains northern pike, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, and panfish.

Driving Directions: Jordan Park is located 2 miles northeast of the city of Stevens Point on County Hwy Y and Jordan Road, just off of Hwy 66.
Hours of Operations: The campground is open May 1st – October 31st.
