Stevens Point: Main Street Historic District & Landmarks

The City of Stevens Point is rich in history, and has more than 60 different buildings with architectural significance. A member of the National Register of Historic Places, it has kept and maintained dozens of these buildings important to its heritage; all within walking distance of downtown Stevens Point. This Historic District also offers unique retail shops and services for community residents and visitors.

Visitors will also find entertainment, more than a dozen restaurants and taverns, museums, art galleries, parks, and a farmer’s market (seasonal) within the District. Additional historic buildings can be found throughout the city, along with other landmarks and prominent places to visit.
